Information on personal data processing – Privacy policy pursuant to the provisions of Section 13 of Italian legislative decree no. 196, 30 June 2003
In compliance with Italian legislative decree no. 196, 30 June 2003 (Italian Personal Data Protection Code – Privacy Code) as amended, we hereby disclose the information required concerning the processing of the personal data you have supplied. This privacy policy cannot be extended to include other websites that may be accessible through links on the owner’s websites; the owner of the website cannot be held liable under any circumstances for the websites owned or controlled by third parties. This privacy policy is provided also pursuant to the requirements of sect. 13 of Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003 – Privacy Code. The privacy policy is based also on Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European data protection authorities, represented by the Working Party created on the basis of sect. 29 of directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify the minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online and, in particular, the methods and times of disclosure and the nature of the information that data controllers are required to supply to users when they visit websites, irrespective of the purposes of the visit, and based also on the provisions of directive 2002/58/EC, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC, with regard to ‘cookies’.

2.TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Personal and identification data
Personal data: any information concerning a natural person, either identified or identifiable, also indirectly, by reference to any other additional information, including a personal identification number; Identification data, personal data that make it possible to directly identify the data subject (such as, by way of example, name, surname, data of birth, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.).
Navigation data
During their normal operation, the IT systems and software employed for the creation and operation of this website acquire various personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
Although this information is not collected in order to associate it with identified data subjects, due its nature it may be possible, through processing and cross-referencing with data held by third parties, to allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by visitors to the site, addresses of the requested resources in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation, the time of the request, the methods used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters associated with the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are used exclusively to collect anonymous statistical information concerning use of the site and to check its correct operation, and they are deleted immediately after processing.
Defence in legal proceedings
The user’s personal data may be used for defence in legal proceedings by the data controller or in the stages preparatory to possible legal proceedings concerning code violations in the use of the website or associated services by the user. The data may also be used to investigate responsibility in the case of possible computer crimes that harm the website.

3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING FOR WHICH CONSENT IS PROVIDED WHERE REQUIRED (SECT. 23 ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196/03)
Personal data and sensitive data, supplied voluntarily, will be retained for processing for the following aims, until the data subject expresses his or her opposition to said retention and data processing:
a) navigation on this website; administrative-accounting activities; contact requests, and transmission of any information you may request;
b) communication/promotional/sales/marketing activities, also through registration in mailing lists, sending emails and/or making telephone calls, by the data controller and the data controller’s subsidiary companies in their role as designated data processors.
4. METHOD OF PROCESSING – RETENTION
Data processing will be carried out automatically and/or manually using methods and instruments designed to guarantee the maximum level of security and confidentiality, by specifically delegated data officers in compliance with the requirements of section 31 et seq of Italian legislative decree 196/03. The data will be retained for a period that is no longer than the persistence of the aims for which the data were originally collected and subsequently processed.
- SCOPE OF COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION
Your personal data subject to data processing will not be disseminated and may be disclosed to companies in contractual relations with REGGIANI SPA ILLUMINAZIONE, also in other countries within the European Union, in compliance with and in the limits provided for by sect. 42 of Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003. Your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the EU in the framework and limits imposed by sections 43 and 44 letter b) of Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003, in order to comply with contracts or associated aims.
The data may also be disclosed to third parties in the following categories:
- parties that provide services for management of the information system used by REGGIANI SPA ILLUMINAZIONE and its telecommunications networks (including the email system);
- studios or companies providing the data controller with assistance and consultancy services;
- the competent authorities for compliance with legal obligations and/or provisions of public bodies, on demand.
The parties belonging to the foregoing categories perform the function of data processors, or they operate in complete independence as separate data controllers. The list of data processors is constantly updated and can be consulted at the headquarters of REGGIANI SPA ILLUMINAZIONE. Any other disclosure or dissemination of your personal data requires your explicit consent.
6. NATURE OF THE PROVISION OF DATA AND REFUSAL
Apart from the matters specified in relation to navigation data, the decision to supply personal data is at the discretion of the user. The supply of personal data is optional, although necessary for aim a). Refusal to supply your personal data may result in the impossibility of using the data controller’s services for aim a). 7. DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS
You are entitled to enforce your rights as set down in sections 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Italian legislative decree no. 196, 30 June 2003 by contacting the data controller or the data processors by sending an email to contact@reggiani.net. You are entitled, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or absence of your data and to be informed of its contents and origin to check the accuracy of the data and demand its integration, updating, or correction (Sect. 7 of the Italian Privacy Code).
Pursuant to the same section you are entitled to request the removal, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of any data processed in violation of the law, and anyway to oppose the processing of your data for any legitimate reason.
If you wish to contact the data controller please provide your email address, name, postal address and/or telephone number(s), in order to allow your request to be managed appropriately.
8. AMENDMENTS TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
The data controller reserves the right to amend, update, add to or remove from the information in this privacy policy at its sole discretion and at any time. The data subject is responsible for periodically checking the privacy policy for amendments. In order to facilitate this procedure the privacy policy will show the date on which the contents were last updated. Use of the website following the publication of amendments to the privacy policy shall be construed as tacit acceptance of the related terms and conditions.
9. SOCIAL LOGIN
Social Login is a technology that enables users to automatically share some of their personal data from social networking services with a third-party website operator.
For example, this technology enables users to rapidly register on a website or participate in an online competition or make online purchases etc. In short, once the user agrees, the social network will send the website operator the personal data required to register on the site, participate in the competition, make the online purchase etc., without the user being required to manually enter their data.
