EUROLUCE 2011 – Fringe event at Reggiani Re Lighting Forum
During EUROLUCE 2011, Reggiani Illuminazione presented RE Lighting, the company’s contemporary approach to light design; it also organised a Fringe Event to offer architects, lighting designers and customers the opportunity to share their experience on the issues of technological innovation and energy efficiency.
The event was held at the 2500 square metre Re Lighting International Forum, which has been recently renovated by architects Setsu and Shinobu ITO. This is where Reggiani has decided to give concrete form to its Re Lighting manifesto and the RE LINK project in particular.
RE LINK is the desire and the ability of Reggiani Illuminazione to work with architects, designers and lighting designers to come up with the lighting design solutions that best meet the needs of the most demanding customers, backed by its international design and production structure.
Professionals from all over the world attended the two seminars held in April where they met up with the Reggiani technical experts and shared their experiences relating to the innovations introduced by LED technology in the lighting design industry. They analysed the impacts on product development, on lighting design and on the responsible use of energy resources.
Evening entertainment was provided by the Kataklo' Athletic Dance Theatre (www.kataklo.com) which performed “Quadri d’emozione di luce e danza” (emotional pictures of light and dance), choreographed by Giulia Staccioli.
The show aimed to symbolically represent the rhythm, the mood, the emotional temperature of people who are living through the major changes taking place in current society.
Like the REGGIANI products, the KATAKLO’ production was versatile enough to adapt to a different context from the normal stage, with professional passion, top technical training and inventive drive. |
