PLDC represents one of the key date for the global lighting design market.

Lighting designers, architects, researchers, universities, industry and clients use PLDC as a platform to meet, learn about the latest developments in lighting design, and discuss the future of the lighting profession.

The fifth edition of the convention will be held in Rome from 28 to 31 October 2015 and of course we’ll be there.

This three-day professional conference, offering approximately 70 presentations given by high-profile speakers, is meant to be the perfect ground for established lighting designers, researchers, students, manufacturers, city planners, architects and related professions to network, exchange and share knowledge and new approaches in the field of light and lighting.

This year’s motto, “An educated decision”, is indeed a synthesis of this philosophy, a clear announcement and appeal for more education in the field of architectural lighting design.

Education regarding also new technologies and the latest research findings is crucial for taking the lighting design community’s efforts a step further and contributing towards all involved being able to make an educated decision in future.
